  Update 2018- They have gotten better with their service and speed, there were too many people on one Node, which was slowing down my internet, I'm sure this is a problem with a lot of people and old equipment, but now with their increase in speed and reliability and fixing their mistakes. I have to upgrade my rating from 1/zero stars to 4. Let's hope it stays reliable and not an issue in the future, prices could be a little lower to March competition for 50mb/s or 100mb/s speed! Around $50 for 50 megs is the average I have seen but with discounts it still ends up being around $55 and will go up to over $80 after a year. So that's why I can't give 5 stars or even 4, maybe a 3.75 score! It has only been 2 months of having their newly upgraded 50 meg, so we will see... but I would give them a second chance now if you have had issues like I have for nearly a decade! Also let's hope they don't take advantage of customers with the law changes of net neutrality! Thanks---

  Have had Internet service with them since 2006 off and on, their Internet is never reliable and just recently their own modem/ routers that do wi-fi don't work correctly, I'm renting one of theirs, after 4 replacements this year alone and many more before and after this year, the arris modems just sucks and Motorola was bought by them, they suck now too! The head guy at the local office Nick, says well we can't guarantee the WiFi will work and the speeds will be as fast as what I'm paying for but I'm renting their modem which should be guaranteed, for years this has been going on and at 24mb/s download , the speed I'm paying for at $80 with modem rental and fees, they can't guarantee the speed, which is the fastest speed they offer residential, it doesn't matter whether u live in clemson, central, seneca, or pickens, the internet is always up and down, sometimes as low as 200kb/s DL and UL which is just rediculous! If I could go with another isp then I would but there is none with the speed i need, and it's only 2mb/s upload which is kinda low for such a supposedly fast download speed, they need to get different modems and increase the upload speed with that package!! And u verse is slow and dsl, dish is slow, so unless you can get Charter Spectrum which is great at 65mb/sec DL and 7mb/sec UL average or another cable Internet provider, that's your only option and they know that, so they just keep ripping people off, thousands of my dollars wasted for 10 years for half a** internet, support, and customer support, which isn't even local anymore!!! Thanks Again Northland, the worst isp ever!! And the office Manager Melissa is rude and acts like it isnt their problem and that's it's the customers fault!! Oh and I just had techs out here again today and it works fine but as soon as they leave the router modem goes out and internet starts screwing up again, what a f-ing joke! I've had dozens of techs and engineers out after many residences I've had and now my house I bought has issues too. Nice!! Get your s*** together Northland and fix the Nodes and Head End equipment as well as run new fiber, then it might work like Charter Spectrum does!
  
  I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD, IF U CAN GET INTERNET WITH SOMEONE ELSE, WHICH U PROBABLY CAN'T IN THIS AREA, PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO GET A DIFFERENT ISP! AND WITH THE NEW LAW CHANGES WITH DELETION OF NET NEUTRALITY, THEY WILL BE ABLE TO SLOW YOUR SPEEDS, LIMIT WHAT CONTENT THEY WANT TO SHOW YOU AND CHARGE CUSTOMERS DIFFERENT PRICES AND NO OVERSITE REGULATED BY THE LAW ON UTILITY COMPANIES! THIS IS ONE LAW THAT NEEDS TO BE PUT BACK AND APPEALED!
